Nails of the Day: Misbehaved

I finally gave in to the nail polish sticker trend and used Sally Hansen's Salon Effects in Misbehaved. It is a metallic silver base with a fishnet pattern over it. The application was pretty easy; the first few I did were hard but I quickly got the hang of it. I'm on day 3 of the stickers and I only have minimal tip wear. Yay! Picture time!

Eye of the Day: Under the Gun

Today's Eye of the Day is named for Under the Gun by The Killers because this is the look I do when I have no time to do my makeup creatively.

Nails of the Day: Glitter and Black Crackle

Not another crackle manicure! Oh yes it is. Am I the only person ever who will never be sick of crackle polish? It's just so cool and it dries instantly (just about)! Here's some delicious black crackle with gold and rainbow holographic glitter. Mmmmm!

Evil Shades Cosmetics: Eyeshadow and Primer

As you know from my previous post, I recently placed on order with Evil Shades Cosmetics. I was going to do a giant post of awesomeness to show you all of the goodies I got but that would be so incredibly long that I decided to make separate posts for blush, lip products and eye products.

I ordered five eye shadows in Victorian Night, Drakon, Mystisizm, Reondite and Glooming. As I already mentioned Andrea is the nicest person ever (see her blog here) and gave me two samples of Evileyes Primer in Naked and Noir. I love the texture of them and I will definitely be purchasing Noir because of how amazing it makes everything look! Here they are along with the adorable Evil Shades girl.

Eyeko Polishes: Cosmic, Vampira, Rain and Posh

I recently made my first purchase of Eyeko products. I bought four polishes and received a free gift of a Graffiti Eyeliner felt tip pen from using an ambassador code. Each polish came to $6 or €5 for .3 fl oz which is a bit expensive but totally worth it as the packaging for each color is unique and adorable, the color choices are diverse and the formula is incredible.

Project Ten Pan (sort of)

Recently I read a post by Claire at Eyelining Obsessions about Project Ten Pan. It was the first I heard of it and love the idea of sing up some older products before purchasing new ones. Here's what I would like to use up.

Lancome Juicy Tube in some Unknown Color, Lypsyl Beeswax Lip Balm, Physician's Formula Powder Palette in Blushing Nude, Revlon Eye Glide in Denim, Lumene Mascara in Black, Beauty Rush Mascara in Indiglow, Sally Hansen Nail Protex Strengthener, Physician's Formula Highlighter in Fancy Pansy, Burt's Bees Radiance Day Creme, NYC Browser in Brunette, Good Skin Lightning Eye Cream and Moisture Lotion and Sephora Eye Pencil in 500.

Have you ever done this? Do you think you could? Wish me luck!

Eye of the Day: Obstacle 1

Today's eye of the day is named for Interpol's Obstacle 1 because a problem I have way too often is how to incorporate color into my makeup for work. I want to be colorful but not too over the top so I came up with this for today.

tokidoki Cromatico Palettes: Adieu, Polpettina and Mozzarella

I love tokidoki. Their products are in adorable packaging, of great quality and well worth the price. The Cromatico Palette are $19 at Sephora.com. They each come with four eye shadows, a mini double-ended brush and a collectable character charm. They are made with rice lipids and vitamin B which makes them very blendable and hydrating for your eyelids. I love the color combinations in these palettes and most likely will get the other two that I'm missing. Each eye shadow comes out to less than $5 which is a great value for product of this quality. All of the colors are very vibrant and last all day without a crease over Two Faced Shadow Insurance. The only downside to the palettes is the extra level under the shadows where the charm is stored. It's a very cute idea and I love my charms; it's just not practical for storage. However it's one small issue that results in getting an adorable charm but still worth mentioning.

Nails of the Day: Purple Leopard

My nails of the day are a purple leopard mani. The base color is two coats of Wet n Wild's Megalast nail color in Bite the Bullet. The spots are Manic Panic's Nail Lacquer in Blood Thirsty with Milani's Nail Art in Black Sketch. This is my first attempt at some kind of free hand nail art but when I saw the london lipgloss's post, I knew I needed to try a leopard mani.

Nails of the Day: Red! (and a top coat conundrum)

My nails have two coats of N.Y.C.'s Expert Last Nail Polish in I <3 NY on all nails except the ring finger which has three coats of Deborah Lippmann's Ruby Red Slippers. Everything is covered with a coat of Seche Vite. Picture time!

Click to Enlarge for the glory that is Ruby Red Slippers.

Now on to my situation. I am nearing the bottle of my Seche Vite topcoat which I haven't been loving lately. It's gotten thick and not applying nicely and it shrinks back at the tips something awful. It's almost $8 a bottle and for that price I should be loving it to the last drop. What's your favorite topcoat? Leave suggestions for me in the comment box please! Thanks for reading and your help!

Eye of the Day: Glamourous Indie Rock and Roll

Today's Eye of the Day is named after the Killers' song, Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll. I think it fits the look well; there's glitter and a purple crease above greys.

Eyes of the Day: Ocean Breathes Salty

I decided that I'm going to name all of my eyes of the day posts after songs. Why? Because I can and it's something fun I haven't seen anyone else do. So today's look is named after Modest Mouse's Ocean Breathes Salty.

beauty.com Polish Insanity

As I mentioned in my last post, I just received my first beauty.com order and I am sort of embarrassed to admit how much I spent. I saved some money by going through Ebates so I'm getting 6% cash back and I saved $5 from an online coupon as well. If you like money and shop online ever I suggest joining ebates by clicking the above link. So here's what I got:
OPI Black Shatter

Red Sparkles and Black Crackle

My first order from beauty.com came in on Friday and I couldn't resist but to try my OPI Black Shatter over a red base so I could try the newest nail trend for myself.
